ZINC OXIDE FAST and eugenol should be combined in proportions allowing obtaining a paste of the desired consistency. Stir vigorously for 30-50 seconds. It is recommended to mix one spoon of ZINC OXIDE FAST supplied with the product (0.1 g) with one drop of eugenol (0.03 g) on a glass plate using a spatula.
Measure the length of the canal, when filling root canals, introduce the paste into the canal, remove excess paste, close cavity tightly.
Setting time: approx. 6 min.
After application, an X-ray should be done to check that the paste adequately filled the canal and did not go beyond the apex.
Leave the filling in the cavity or in the root canal for a period of 1 week but no longer than 30 days

INTENDED USE
ZINC OXIDE FAST is intended for use as a paste material in combination with eugenol for temporary filling of cavities and root canals.
Mixture of zinc oxide with eugenol as a temporary filling has drying effect and stimulates creation of the secondary dentine. ZINC OXIDE FAST meets the requirements of EN ISO 3107.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use the product in patients with hypersensitivity to the oxide-zinc-eugenol paste component (rosin, eugenol).

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Endodontic treatment may cause temporary postoperative pain. The use of temporary materials may be associated with bacterial microleakage.
ZOE paste binds in a moist environment, do not over-dry the root canal / cavity before applying the paste. Do not use ZOE paste under composites, as eugenol can interfere with the polymerisation process. ZOE paste has cytotoxic potential.
Care should be taken and the paste should be applied in controlled movements to avoid overfilling and accidental pushing beyond the root apex.
Use cofferdam, disposable gloves, safety goggles/visors and protective clothing when handling the product. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Avoid creating and inhaling dust. In case of worrying symptoms consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
Any serious incident involving the product should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the State in which the user or patient is domiciled.

STORAGE
Store in original packaging below 25°C. Protect from moisture.
Expiry date is placed on the main container. Once container is open, the expiry date does not change if the container is securely closed after each use.
