Plastic Wedges are contoured, anatomically shaped wedges used during restorative dental procedures to separate teeth slightly and secure matrix bands, ensuring proper contour and tight contact points between adjacent teeth. Made from flexible, medical-grade plastic, these wedges provide excellent adaptation to interproximal spaces without causing gingival trauma. They are commonly used in composite and amalgam restorations for Class II cavities.
