1. Thoroughly dry and isolate the affected area (with e.g. Vaseline).
2. Soak the tip of the attached applicator in the preparation, get rid of any excess. Rub the altered tissue until it becomes white.
3. Rinse with clean water.
CAUTION! Thoroughly rinse the preparation out, otherwise it may prevent the setting of impression materials.
If the lesions do not disappear after the first use, repeat the procedure several times every 2-4 weeks until the lesions resolve.
Product intended for multiple use except the applicator which is for single use only. Multiple use of applicator may cause the risk of reinfection.

Description

COMPOSITION:
trichloroacetic acid 35%, Ph. Eur. purified water, aroma.

INTENDED USE
TCAdent is used to cauterise local pathological lesions and minor bleeding in the oral cavity. The healing effect of this preparation is achieved by chemical coagulation of pathologically altered tissue. The product promotes healing of granulating lesions.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in patients who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
Do not use this product in children.

PRECAUTIONS
Apply only on the affected area.
This product can cause eye and skin irritation. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water.
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting and drink plenty of water.
Contact a doctor immediately.
Use gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing when working with the product.
Any serious incident involving the product should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the State in which the user or patient is domiciled.

STORAGE
Store in tightly closed original container below 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is on the direct packaging. After opening of the container, the expiry date does not change, providing the container is tightly sealed after each use.

TRANSPORT
The manufacturer allows transport of the product for a period not longer than 10 days at a temperature not exceeding 40°C. Short-term transport within the given temperature range does not affect the safety and efficacy of the product throughout its shelf life.
