* Tip: The working time mentioned considers room temperature (23°C) and normal air humidity (50%). The time may be shorter at higher temperatures and longer at lower temperatures.
Step by step:
- Tray selection:
The impression material can be applied to all types of trays. To increase retention between them, a thin layer of adhesive can be applied to the inside of the tray.
- Manual mixing: Silic-one Putty Soft Paste:
- Use the respective color spoons to measure out the same weight or volume of the base paste and catalyst paste (close the packages immediately after use and do not exchange the lids).
- Mix them together with your fingertips and knead them for at least 30 seconds, until they are evenly mixed.
- Place the material in previously selected trays and make the impression.
Note: If gloves are used during the procedure, it is recommended that a compatibility test of the impression material with the glove be performed. Certain types of gloves, such as latex gloves, may impede the polymerization process.
- Material in cartridges: Silic-one Heavy Body, Light Body, Bite Registration and Clear Body:
- Adapt the cartridge to the dispensing gun in a 1:1 ratio.
- Remove the cartridge cap, attach the mixing tip and, if necessary, the intraoral tip.
- Activate the gun trigger, dispensing a small amount until a homogeneous mixture of the product is obtained.
- Apply the silicone in the desired location and wait the necessary time (see indicative table) for the polymerization process of the material.
Note: After use, it is suggested not to remove the mixing tip, keeping it as a cover, and it should only be changed in the next impression.
